The popularity of a sport is determined by its followers, who eiether play it or like it. A person who is physically disabled may not play a sport but by liking it he contributes equally in making a sport popular. World is a big place with hundreds of sports scattered here and there, popularity of a sport can be calculated by considering the likings of millions and billions of people of different nations following it.
